This center hall bathroom remodel on the second floor is a new addition to this old house from a time before indoor plumbing and central heat and air conditioning.
The remodel or makeover entailed making a small child’s bedroom into a full bathroom in a Victorian style decor as the bedrooms on the floor. The wall sconces, doors, door locks and knobs, windows and window treatments are either authentic antiques or reproductions.
The bathroom includes an old fashioned Victorian style tub made of cast iron and porcelain enameled with brass feet and fixtures.
Two other bathrooms were also constructed on the second floor, a master bathroom inside the master bedroom with its own Victorian style soaking tub and a half bathroom also off the hall next to the full hall bathroom depicted here whose space was used as children’s bedrooms.
